Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation is jointly owned by the Company of Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has been reconstituted as per the approval of the Government by naming it as “Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL)” for implementation of different new Metro Rail projects in some of the important cities in the State of Uttar Pradesh and has been given the responsibility of implementation and operation of the metro in new cities where Metro projects have been recently getting approval by Government of India. Eligibility Criteria

Junior Engineer/Electrical | Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent# from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for candidates applying for UR, EWS & OBC vacancies and with a minimum of 50% marks for candidates applying for reserved vacancies of SC only. |

Selection Process
The post of Junior Engineers, the selection will consist of a two-stage process Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examinations.
Medical Examination
Candidates shall have to go through a medical fitness test and meet the medical standards as per Indian Railway Medical Manual for various posts.
The candidates who are not able to qualify medically for their candidature will be canceled.
The selection process would judge different aspects like knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness. Candidates will have to pass through each stage successfully (that includes biometric verification, document verification & prescribed Medical examination), candidates who fail on these tests will not get employment.
