CBSE collabarates with B&WSSC to make students industry-ready
With the help of the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council, CBSE intends to acquire knowledge about developing market trends in the Beauty and Wellness sector (B&WSSC).
Curricula and course content would be produced in line with evolving market trends in the Beauty and Wellness industry.
For more than a decade, yoga and beauty and wellness have been included in the curriculum of Delhi government schools. Dedicated classes will now be available in the schools.
Recognizing market demand and the needs of well-known firms, CBSE seeks to develop a workforce by assisting students in learning intricacies at an early age. “It is critical to understand the type of workforce required in areas such as the beauty salon industry, the cosmetics industry, and the nail painting industry. The representation of B&WSSC satisfies this criteria. As a result, the curriculum is being developed with the help of the industry, and the contents are being developed so that students will be industry-ready after completing the course.”
“Training would be provided to teachers in accordance with industry requirements. The agreement with B&WSSC was negotiated in order to receive timely inputs, content creation, teacher training, and future assessments in which their participation would be available.”
This agreement with B&WSSC will provide students with hands-on experience and would create a conducive environment for teaching vocational courses on the school premises.
