The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board announced advertisement for recruitment of Junior Assistant every year in general for various departments like Jal Shakti, Parliamentary Affairs, etc.
The candidates must apply on the official online portal of the JKSSB.
The selection will be taking place on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the skill test and written exam.
Only the domiciles of J&K Union Territory are eligible to apply.
JKSSB releases vacancies for the Junior Assistant under the General Administration Department.

Steps :
Step 1: Use the direct application link given above. (link will be active soon).
Step 2: New candidates can proceed to “Candidate Registration”.
Step 3: Enter all the details like date of birth, email ID, contact number, name, etc., and create the credentials.
Step 4: Login using the generated credentials and click on “Apply Online” link under “Latest Openings”.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details in various sections and click on “Save & Continue”.
Step 6 The applicants will have to pay an application fee through net banking or credit/debit card.
Step 7: After the final submission, print the application form/fee receipt for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate will be considered eligible only if he/she satisfied the criteria defined in terms of age, education and domicile.
Educational Qualification
Graduation and knowledge of type writing having speed not less than 35 words per minute.
6-month Diploma/Certificate course in Computer Applications
Age Limit
The age limit for the Junior Assistant post shall be as per the category of the candidate.
Minimum 18years to 40 years maximum. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per govt norms.
Basic Pay :
The selected candidates will be entitled to pay scale of Level-4 (Rs. 25500 - Rs. 81100/-).
