Women Scientists Scheme-A (WOS-A) provides a platform to women scientists and technologists for pursuing research in basic or applied sciences in frontier areas of science and engineering.

The scheme can be available for:
Fellowships can be researched in the basic or applied for science (WOS-A).
Fellowships can be researched in the S & T that is based on Societal programs (WOS-B).
The internship is for self-employment (WOS-C).
Eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: At the time of the application form submission, the maximum age limit for this category is 27 to 57 years. The age relaxation will be of 5 years that should be given to the candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC and the physically challenged category
