Srinivasan CBSE New Assessment Scheme For The Academic Year 2021-22 The academic year will be divided into two terms, each of which will cover roughly half of the curriculum. According to the CBSE notification, “The syllabus for the Academic session 2021-22 will be divided into two terms using a systematic approach, with Subject Experts looking into the interconnectivity of concepts and topics, and the Board will conduct examinations on the basis of the bifurcated syllabus at the end of each term. This is done in order to maximise the chances of having a Board-conducted class X and XII test at the end of the academic year.” The syllabus for the Board test 2021-22 will be rationalised in the same way as the syllabus for the previous academic session, which will be revealed in July 2021, according to the notification. To guarantee that marks are allocated fairly, efforts will be taken to make Internal Assessment/Practical Project work more credible and valid, in compliance with the Board’s standards and moderation policy.
