- The Ministry of Education, Government of India, established the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar to recognise, motivate, and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practises in schools.
- The SVP is designed to recognise schools who have taken major steps toward achieving the Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign’s goals.
- SVP is based on an IT-assisted evaluation of WASH infrastructure, sanitary practises, and COVID-19-compliant behaviour.
- All Government, Government aided and private schools from both rural and urban areas are invited to apply for the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar.
- The registration of schools would be done with the UDISE+ code of the school .
- Schools will first complete the primary information section in the prescribed format and submit.
How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website of Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) i.e. https://swachhvidyalayapuraskar.com/ and sign up here.
Step 2: Then login with your credentials and fill up the online survey.
Note-If you do not have a UDISE+ code , download the Data Capture Format (DCF) and submit at Block / District / State level office to generate the UDISE+ code .
