GeetYaduvanshi NISHTHA-An Integrated Teacher Training Programme In keeping with the recommendations of NEP2020, an Integrated Teacher Training Program named #NISHTHA was created under SamagraShiksha to improve learning outcomes at the elementary level. Teachers actually shape the future of our students, and thus the future of our Nation," according to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Teachers must be motivated and empowered in order for our children and country to have the best potential future. Every teacher and head teacher is expected to participate in at least 50 hours of Continuous Professional Growth (CPD) opportunities each year for their own professional development, guided by their own interests, as per NEP 2020’s proposal. The latest pedagogies in foundational literacy and numeracy, formative and adaptive assessment of learning outcomes, competency-based learning, and related pedagogies, such as experiential learning, arts-integrated, sports-integrated, and storytelling-based approaches, will all be covered in detail through CPD opportunities To realize the vision of NEP-2020, recently NCERT under the aegies of Ministry of Education (MoE), Department of School Education and Literacy (DSE&L), Govt. of India. In collaboration with States / UTs and autonomous bodies under MoE, MoD and MoTA (CBSE, KVS, NVS, CTSA, AEES, Sainik School, CICSE, EMRS - NESTS etc.) have initiated the NISHTHA integrated training programme 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 online for different stages of school education - Teachers, Head Teachers/Principals and other stakeholders in Educational Management and Administration.
