Mission
- The Vigyan Pratibha project envisages working with Classes 8, 9 and 10 students from diverse and non-elite backgrounds to nurture their talent in science and mathematics.
- The program’s goal is to promote a high-quality, well-rounded scientific and mathematics education based on a deep grasp, appreciation, and enthusiasm for the topic.
Present Target
Currently, the target schools for the project are the roughly 1500 schools of the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Sangathan system, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Samiti system and the Atomic Energy Central Schools (AECS).
Foundation of this Project
The project’s core is built on Learning Units (LUs), which will be deployed by instructors in these schools as part of scientific circles for students who are interested. These lessons are tightly linked to school curricula, but they introduce pupils to aspects of science and mathematics that are not included in textbooks.
