To solve the problem of not getting an opportunity enroll in higher education by trainees of vocational education and training, IGNOU has offered general courses in 95 skill development centres in Odisha.
For this the IGNOU has signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU)with the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship.
This MoU has signed for linking vocational education and training to higher education for trainees under ITI, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) and Jan Shikshan Sansthans(JSS).
