KEAM
Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination(KEAM) is conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala Government conducts the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM) for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs in various government colleges, private self-financed colleges, and government-sponsored self-financing colleges of Kerala state.
KEAM will offer admission in various courses like BHMS, BDS, BSMS, MBBS, B.Sc (honors), B.tech, and various other courses depending on the performance in the entrance exam. Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Medical and Allied Courses must qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which will be conducted by the CBSE.
Seat Reservation
The percentage break up of seats as per reservation is as follows:
(1) State Merit (SM) - 50%
(2) Economically Weaker Sections in General Category (EWS) - 10%
(3) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 30%
a. Ezhava (EZ) - 9%
b. Muslim (MU) - 8%
c. Other Backward Hindu (BH) - 3%
d. Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian (LA) - 3%
e. Dheevara and related communities (DV) - 2%
f. Viswakarma and related communities (VK) - 2%
g. Kusavan and related communities (KN) - 1%
h. Other Backward Christian (BX) - 1%
i. Kudumbi (KU) - 1%
(D) Scheduled Castes& Scheduled Tribes - 10%
a. Scheduled Castes (SC) - 8%
b. Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2%
