Shalinisharma National Mission for Mentoring for school teachers and school leaders NCTE will put the National Mentoring Mission into action by assembling a significant pool of excellent senior/retired professionals willing to mentor anyone seeking direction and assistance. Regardless of the mentor’s or mentee’s age or position, these potential mentors will help our country achieve its 21st-century developmental goals. The NMM emphasises the value of short- and long-term mentorship and professional assistance for teachers and teacher educators. It provides an opportunity for employees to benefit from cross-learning, resulting in their continued professional development. Mentoring is a procedure for the informal/formal transmission of knowledge and psychosocial support deemed beneficial to work, career, or professional growth by the recipient. A committee was formed to develop a strategy for putting the plan into action for the execution of NMM. A draft of the bluebook on mentoring has been developed through initial meetings and discussions.
