Caste certificate
A caste certificate is a legal document that verifies a person’s affiliation with a certain religion, community, or caste.
SC/ST Certificate Documents Required
To obtain a SC/ST certificate ,submit the following papers with the application form:
Application Form
Aadhaar number,if an Aadhaar number is not accessible, someone can use a PAN, passport, driver’s licence, or voter’s card to prove their identification.
Copy of SC/ST certificate of father, sister, brother, or blood related from the paternal side.
Certificate of Marriage for Married Women.
Present proof of residence, such as a voter’s card, a water bill, an electric bill, or a telephone bill.
Date of Birth Proof (School certificate or Birth certificate or passport)
Note: If a family member’s SC/ST certificate is not available, two government officials must declare that the applicant is a permanent resident of that state and is known to them, as well as attested copies of their identity cards, and that he or she belongs to the caste SC/ST.
