‘Vande Tripura,’ a 24-hour educational channel, has debuted in Tripura.
In a first, the Tripura government has developed ‘Vande Tripura,’ a specialised instructional channel available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for students who are failing to attend school due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
In the presence of education minister Ratan Lal Nath, chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb formally opened the channel, which would broadcast lessons for schools and higher educational institutions as well as other programmes.
The channel’s studio, which is housed in the SCERT headquarters in Kumari Tilla, Agartala, will first broadcast recorded lessons before moving on to online sessions.
