Delhi Government launches business blasters programme
Under the entrepreneurial mindset curriculum, a business blasters programme would be implemented in every Delhi government school.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, every child in class 11 and 12 would receive Rs 2,000 in seed money as part of this scheme. This project will engage around 3.5 lakh youngsters. The pilot phase of the initiative was deemed a success.
According to Sisodia, there is no shortage of talent among pupils at Delhi’s government institutions. They can become successful entrepreneurs if they are provided the appropriate path.
He went on to say that the only answer to the country’s current unemployment crisis was in the entrepreneurial mentality curriculum, and that the children of Delhi would solve the problem by becoming job suppliers rather than job seekers.
The idea behind this was that after graduating from high school or college, students should have the mindset that they must become job suppliers rather than job seekers in order to contribute to the country’s economy. If people go to work, they should be capable enough that they don’t need to queue for employment; instead, jobs should come to them," he remarked.
