Anupam

This is not valid since the caste list is state-specific. As a result, a member of the SC/ST/OBC community is only entitled for benefits in his or her home state.

Because each state has its own OBC caste list, each state’s OBC certificate is unique. The state government issues OBC certificates based solely on that list.

One of the OBC castes in Uttar Pradesh may not be on Delhi’s OBC list. As a result, the OBC certificate issued in Uttar Pradesh may not be valid in Delhi.

If there is a vacancy in the Central Government, an OBC certificate issued by the state is valid if the caste is on the Central OBC list.

This is only valid for the state from which it is issued.
