The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the class X and XII board exam dates.
The exams will be held at Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), and government/private schools connected with CBSE or state boards, as well as certified NIOS study centres. Schools will have to register for exam centres using an online system.
The next NIOS public (theoretical) exam for secondary and senior secondary courses is expected to start on April 6, 2022. The school principals are encouraged to apply for NIOS exam centres online at exams.nios.ac.in, according to NIOS.
The regional directors have also been instructed by NIOS to tell the principals of KVS/NVS/AIs about the online application process for exam centres.
The public exams are held twice a year, in the months of April-May and October-November.
