Ravindra Brother, I want to know whether there is any official notification from CISCE stating that correction of name, father’s name, or date of birth is allowed only within three years from the date of result. If such a notification exists, please tell me where I can find it and from which year CISCE first released or started following this rule.
Actually, I passed my ICSE in 2019 and ISC in 2021, and my name and date of birth are incorrect in my admit card, mark sheets, and pass certificates. Because of this, I contacted my school on 10/12/2025 and asked about correction of my records. The school clearly told me that the correction was possible and would be done 100%, including correction of both ICSE and ISC together.
After that, I went to the school and submitted all the documents they asked for, including my birth certificate, original ICSE and ISC certificates, Aadhaar card, PAN card, affidavit, and newspaper advertisement. They also asked me to pay ₹5,000 in cash, which I paid. I submitted all documents and payment by 17/12/2025.
Yesterday, when I called the school to check the status, they told me that CISCE has rejected the request because the three-year time limit has already been crossed. If this three-year rule has been there for many years, then I don’t understand why the school told me with full confidence that the correction would definitely be done and collected money and documents from me.
That is why I am asking for the official notification or first release of this rule, and also the correct email address of CISCE, so that I can contact them directly and get clear information from the council itself.
