A Memorandum of Understanding was inked in Kashmir for the ‘financial sustainability’ of Army Goodwill Schools
Army and Indrani Balan Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday for the financial sustainability of five schools run by it in Kashmir, which will entail a support of over three crore rupees per year for the next five years, and will help improve infrastructure and run educational institutions better.
After the first one last year, this is the second MoU between the Army’s 15 Corps or Chinar Corps and the Indrani Balan Foundation.
The MoU was inked to ensure the financial viability of four additional Army Goodwill Schools (AGSs) in Kupwara, Shopian, and Kulgam districts, as well as the Army Goodwill Public School (AGPS) in Pahalgam, south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
