The Punjab government has partnered with Khan Academy to create educational content for school students in Punjabi
The Punjab State Government and Khan Academy will use the SBI Foundation’s funding to make quality educational content in Punjabi available to students in the state, speed content localization, and allow students to learn in their own language. I intend to do so. This alliance will increase efforts to localise material as outlined in the most recent national education policy and democratise access to high-quality learning resources with the help of state governments and public schools.
The partnership’s main goal is to successfully execute a tailored math learning programme for 100,000 Punjabi students. SBI Fund Management Pvt. Ltd. and SBI Foundation Ltd. is located in Punjab, according to a statement. More than 5,000 teachers at 3,000 schools in Punjab will benefit from the localization of math material and a teacher training programme. Punjabi videos for all Punjabi students in public schools. On the Khan Academy platform, this curriculum is also available for free to all students. This will allow students in grades 6 through 12 to acquire a good foundation of the fundamentals of math and learn at their own pace, while also allowing teachers to identify and address learning gaps individually. The Khan Academy team will collaborate closely with the Punjab State Government to train more than 5,000 teachers on how to properly use their learning content and apply individual math learning in the classroom as part of this effort.
