Bhopal college to soon offer MBBS course in Hindi
According to state medical education minister Vishwas Sarang, the Madhya Pradesh government plans to start an MBBS programme in Hindi in Bhopal’s Gandhi Medical College from the next academic session. MP would also be the first to offer a Hindi-medium MBBS programme, he asserted.
“Directives have been issued to begin the MBBS course in Hindi at Bhopal’s Gandhi Medical College from the next session, which begins in two months.” To establish the work plan for the MBBS Hindi curriculum, a 14-member team led by Medical Education Director Dr Jiten Shukla has been formed," he told PTI.
Students who choose Hindi as their medium of instruction will be taught in both Hindi and English for two months in the first phase. Following their evaluation, further measures will be taken. Supplementary books for Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry disciplines would be created in the second phase," he stated.
