IIT-Delhi launches website for school kids to prepare for different exams like JEE Mains, Advanced, IAT, NEET
The website iitpal.iitd.ac.in will provide free video lectures for class 11 and 12 students who are preparing for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, IAT, and others.
The initiative was taken by the Ministry of Education (MoE) with an aim to make students’ understanding of the subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology) better and also help them in self-studying so that they can do well in competitive exams like JEE, NEET, IAT, and others. As to bring all resources together, IIT-D has launched a website iitpal.iitd.ac.in that will act as a single platform where students across India can access video lectures that are telecasted on the Ministry of Education’s Swayam Prabha Channels, interact live with IIT Professors and ask them questions.
This website will be helpful to students in different regions where they may not have access to specialist teachers in science subjects and coaching opportunities. This website contains videos and lectures on math, physics, chemistry, and biology for grades 11 and 12, following the NCERT syllabus. This allows students to study each subject topic specified in the syllabus in a convenient and chronological order. In addition, enrolled students can submit topic-related questions in English or Hindi. A team of IITPAL faculty/experts will coordinate to find answers to these questions. The answers to the selected questions will be published on the website for all registered students to view. Enrolled students can also request live interactions on specific topics in English or Hindi. As soon as there are many requests for a particular topic, live sessions on that particular topic are scheduled with experts via the online video platform.
