Tripura will soon have a national law university.
The national law university will come up in addition to a government law college in Agartala, established in 1986, the state-run law college offers a five-year integrated bachelor of law degree.
This will help several students from the northeast, as they will not have to travel far for law courses.
The admission of students will be done through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), as per the standard procedure.

The counseling process takes place in four rounds. The seat allotment will be done on merit-cum-preference basis. After a few days of the declaration of the written result, the authority will release the merit list in which candidates must check their names.
