The University Grants Commission (UGC) offers a clarification regarding “fake” notices for offline exams in universities
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has clarified a circular that stated that all universities would be conducting offline examinations. The circular, which has been circulating on numerous social media platforms, is a hoax, according to UGC.
UGC issued a correction through their official Twitter account addressing the false warning. “This #FAKE public notice!” The University Grants Commission “has NOT issued any such notice,” according to a tweet from the commission.
According to the fake announcement, since all colleges and universities are working while observing COVID19 norms, offline assessments can be taken while maintaining physical separation at their home centres. As a result, all universities are encouraged to conduct all current and future semester examinations in offline mode in their home centres while adhering to COVID19 protocols.
