IIIT-Delhi and the University of South Carolina’s Artificial Intelligence Institute have signed a memorandum of understanding for collaborative research
The Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) and the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of South Carolina (AIISC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote academic cooperation and research collaboration among students and faculty members, with an international focus, for the mutual benefit of both institutes.
This partnership will promote the exchange of scholarly publications, research materials, and other information in both parties’ areas of interest, as well as the sharing of co-advised thesis or serving on the dissertation committee for students and PhD candidates.
Students from IIIT Delhi will be able to earn an internship at AIISC as well as participate in collaborative research and activities as a result of this collaboration. In the future, IIIT Delhi and AIISC can collaborate on specialised educational programmes and benefit from the exchange of research, teaching, and technical professionals.
This Memorandum of Understanding will focus on productivity and a desire to close the knowledge gap and foster innovation, resulting in ground-breaking outcomes that will benefit all parties involved.
The heads of the two institutes are expecting that this MoU would pave the way for joint engagement in areas such as research, academic activities, and exchange programmes.
