MBA is a degree offered by UGC approved Universities and PGDM is Post Graduate Diploma in Management offered by Institutes approved under AICTE i.e. All India Council For Technical Education. And PGDM i.e. Post Graduate Diploma In Management is considered equivalent to MBA.
Both are same except one is a degree and other is a diploma. Nowdays PGDM are more popular as compared to MBA because PGDM makes us Industry ready and it opens up various horizons and exposure to industry side. That ultimately helps us in lending a great job . On the other side MBA is a full time degree course and it also helps in lending great jobs. So what to choose either depends on your choice if you have an eye on industry then go on with PGDM otherwise MBA as it is universally accepted in all countries.
