IIM Ahmedabad and NIIF to set up India’s first research chair in ESG
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is a non-profit organisation that In conjunction with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited (NIIF), India’s sovereign linked alternative asset manager, IIM (Ahmedabad), a leading global management institute, will establish the country’s first research chair in ESG. The Arun Duggal ESG Centre for Research and Innovation at IIMA will collaborate closely with the newly founded NIIF Chair in ESG at IIMA. It will serve as the primary source of information and insights that firms and policymakers may use to incorporate ESG principles into long-term business and governance choices.
