West partners with IIT Palakkad’s TECHIN to build MedTech Research Centre of Excellence
West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (West) is partnering with TECHIN, the technology innovation foundation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad, to establish a MedTech Research Center of Excellence.
The relationship with the West will assist us to achieve improvements in medical technology," said P B Sunil Kumar, director of IIT Palakkad and chairman of TECHIN.
We anticipate that academics and innovators will use TECHIN’s unique incubation methodology, as well as West’s expertise in medical devices and health technology, to speed the creation of products that will benefit society in the long run.
