The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad and Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) have renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strengthening the collaborative academic activities of the two institutions in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
The extension of the MoU will facilitate organizing seminars, symposiums, and other types of discussions. It will also provide co-guidance for interns from IIT Hyderabad participating in joint activities with AIRC and encourage scientist, staff, and researcher exchange programs.
Collaborations with institutes like AIST are a step in the right direction to establish a global center of excellence for AI and ML at IIT Hyderabad and to serve society well with its changing needs.
