The Karnataka government has agreed to eliminate the penalty for switching to a medical course
Great news for students of Karnataka who are going to change or have changed their stream from engineering to medical.
Karnataka Higher Education Minister CN Ashwath Narayan stated on Friday that he has asked the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) not to impose penalties on students who have already been admitted to an engineering course and are now seeking admission to medical courses. He stated that this student provision will only be in effect for the current school year.
