Under the MEES, students can exit at the end of an academic year with a degree
The Delhi University Executive Council approved the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) for the 2022-23 academic session on Friday, based on the National Education Policy (NEP).
Three members of the EC spoke out against the implementation of the UGCF, claiming that “concerns have been brushed aside in passing this hurried, half-baked reform.”
Under the MEES, students can graduate with a degree at the end of the academic year. A total of 176 credits are available in the draught. To receive a four-year undergraduate degree with a major in a discipline, students must earn a minimum of 50% credits in that discipline.
