NITI Aayog, in conjunction with UNDP, launched Community Innovator Fellowship (CIF)
On the occasion of the “International Day of Women and Girls in Science,” the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, in conjunction with UNDP, India established the Community Innovator Fellowship (CIF).
The fellowship is being designed as a pre-incubation model that will allow youth to start their own social company based on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-based solutions to community challenges.
The CIF Program will focus on enabling knowledge and capacity building among aspiring community innovators, which is critical to their business development. This is one of the ways AIM plans to engage young people in mainstreaming social enterprise as a culture in the startup ecosystem, as well as encouraging womenpreneurs from all parts of India.
