Doing away with uncertainty surrounding the exam in which exams will be administered at Delhi University (DU), the university on Friday announced that all examinations in March and April will be conducted in an open book mode. Odd semester exams for semesters 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be held as open exams in March and April.
The notice, released on Friday, also mentions that the university will switch to physical exams in May and June. “This is to inform all stakeholders that the University of Delhi, based on the recommendations of the Examinations Working Group, has decided that all examinations to be held in March and April 2022 (odd semester I/III/V/VII exams) should be conducted in Open mode. Book Examination (OBE),” the DU notice reads.
“In addition, all exams that will be held in May 2022 and beyond (even semester exams II/IV/VI/VIII) must be conducted in a physical mode,” he added.
