Students who completed their master’s degree by correspondence are qualified to take the UGC NET exam. Only a minimum of 55 percent aggregate in Masters is required.

For the net exam, you can choose between a traditional degree and a correspondence degree. But the college should be approved by the University Grants Commission.

    Various subject eligibility in NET exam is masters degree or equivalent. But it si not necessary to have a masters degree in regular mode only. A Masters degree for distance education is also considered equivalent only one condition is mandatory that it should be from a recognised university.
