Amid the decline in the number of cases of COVID-19, the government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to reopen schools for Class 1 to 12 from Monday, February 14. The government has asked authorities to adhere to COVID-19 protocols when reopening schools. Meanwhile, the government has eased additional Covid restrictions.
According to the government notice, “schools will reopen for classes from Nursery to 8 from February 14 with strict adherence to COVID protocols until further notice.” Earlier, from February 7 in the state of Uttar Pradesh, schools for Class 9-12 and all colleges resumed work. Now, with a new notice, schools for all grades have resumed PE classes.
In addition, the state government has allowed gyms, swimming pools, restaurants and offices to reopen. They are allowed to operate as before, in compliance with all COVID-19 regulations in accordance with the official order, according to Times Now.
