The Governor of Assam urged private universities to focus on quality research and teaching
Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi has advised private university administrators to focus on high-quality research and teaching in order for Assam to become one of the best-performing states in the education industry. He also emphasized the importance of colleges in encouraging students to act as catalysts for the country’s prosperity.
"Education is the cornerstone of a country’s development. The future of a nation is determined by its quality and penetration, as well as its efficacy in producing job-ready graduates with strong ethical values and patriotism "Mukhi made the remarks while speaking to a conference of chancellors and vice-chancellors from the state’s six private universities.
Mukhi further said that higher education institutions should consider introducing dual degree programs for the benefit of future generations.
