The The Union Territory Education Department will teach traffic rules to government school students. The department has made it a part of curriculum.
There will only be one book for classes III to V. Books for classes VI to VIII and IX to X will be separate.
The department has ordered publication of books in both languages Hindi and English.
Students would be made aware of traffic rules so that traffic sense would be deeply ingrained in them by the time grew up.
