A much needful and required step for engineering students has been taken to improve the quality of engineering education in the country. A “AICTE-INAE Travel Grant Scheme” for engineering students from AICTE approved Engineering Colleges/Institutions to deliver papers overseas has been created. Now that’s very much useful for my younger brother who will be benefited from this . They have a goal of encouraging engineering students to engage in research by providing partial travel assistance and registration fees to Bachelors and Masters level engineering students who present a research paper at an international scientific event conference/seminars, etc.).
The financial support:
I have listed them to improve the readability for you.
a) Up to Rs. 5000 in registration fees, visa fees, and travel insurance will be reimbursed in full.
b) Reimbursement of 50% of the real airfare for discounted/concessional plane tickets, as well as local transportation from the airport to the presentation location, if no alternative reimbursement is available.
c) For travel from the Technical Institution to the nearest airport and back, actual fares not exceeding AC II Class railway fares will be accepted (in India).
d) For all of the above reimbursements, the maximum financial support per student is Rs. 1 lakh.
