The Executive Council of Delhi University is meeting to discuss Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF)
As we know Delhi University(DU) has released framework for Undergraduate Curriculum so, for discussing that a meeting has held on last Friday of members of Executive Council of DU. This UGCF is based on National Education Policy 2020. In this meeting the council resolved the problems raised with this framework and accepted it along with some small suggestions to work on. This framework is going to be implemented from the Academic Session 2022-2023.
Earlier during the meeting of Academic Council(AC) where this UGCF has been released eleven members expressed their opposition to the framework, stating that it should be discussed by all statutory groups, including course committees, staff councils, and faculties, before being presented to the AC.
After the release of this framework various questions are arising regarding that it doesn’t follow the framework as stipulated by the draft National Higher Education Qualifications Framework (NHEQF), let’s see what the university and UGC take decision regarding this hopefully the final decision would be prove better for the students.
