A new milestone achieved by the IIT Kanpur
IIT Kanpur’s Foundation for Innovation and Research in Science and Technology (FIRST-IITK) has created portable soil testing equipment with an embedded mobile application that can assess soil health in about 90 seconds.
It’s a first-of-its-kind innovation based on Near Infrared Spectroscopy technology that’s available on Google Playstore and linked to a smartphone app called Earth Checker that gives real-time soil analysis reports.
