I came through an announcement made by the UP govt recently. The state of Uttar Pradesh simply wants all students to have the opportunity to receive an education, which is why this scholarship was created because many students are unable to continue their studies owing to financial problems. They have a list of documents you must have like Aadhar card, Income certificate, Bank passbook, Caste certificate, etc.
Some important points that I read, I am mentioning it below:
9th – 10th grade scholarship
The income requirement for this scholarship is Rs 1,00,00 for OBC/SC/ST and minorities.
Scholarships are available for 11th and 12th grade students.
The overall income threshold for OBC and Minorities has been set at Rs 2,00,000, while the total income criteria for SC/ST has been set at Rs 2,50,000.
Schemes like these are always welcome and I appreciate the step taken by the UP govt.
