As a child I was always thrilled about computer and other technologies. So I pursued it and also I have my graduation degree in BCA. In many Govt. and other competitive exams, skills of computer are mandatory. Isn’t it? Here are my views as to how it affects your academic as well as your professional career:
a) In education sector:
I think learning computer skills can be extremely beneficial to students since it allows them to complete projects, homework, presentations, and other academic-related tasks. Students must learn computer skills in order to keep up with the technology world of today. There are other vocations in it, like as web design, game design, graphic design, and a variety of others. Students will be able to improve their learning and adapt to the world more quickly as a result of this. Students who are well-versed in computer abilities can protect themselves sensibly from cyber crime by securing their privacy also.
b) In Workplace:
If you don’t know how to use fundamental computer programmes like MS Office, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint, your chances of getting employed are negligible. Just imagine the importance!
Your work will be praised, and you may be promoted within a short period of time.
Your productivity and creativity will also improve, and it will seem good on your CV or resume.
And off course by improving your computer skills can increase your employer’s interest for you significantly.
