I think you don’t need a typing certificate, as in notification of most of the exams it is clearly mentioned that you need to appear for the typing test.
And if you are appearing for typing test in any exam, you don’t need a typing certificate as your typing skill/speed will be checked by the exam itself.
Although you need a required typing speed for the particular exam that ou are appearing for.
