Now Six-month bridge course is mandatory in elementary education
Bridge courses for primary school teachers have been mandated by the government.
According to the new rule of government, Candidates who have obtained the three-year integrated BED-MED from any institute recognized by NCTE will be considered for appointment as a teacher in grades 1 to 5 if they complete a six-month bridge course in primary education within two years of their employment.
