IIT Guwahati Creates Recyclable, Cost-Effective Solar Cells
Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati have developed hybrid pervksite solar or photovoltaic systems that are highly efficient, cost-effective, easy to build, and readily recyclable, according to official news. By integrating cost-effective solution-based photovoltaic device manufacturing techniques with strong ambient, thermal, and optical stability at room temperature, these devices were developed to attain power conversion efficiencies of more than 21%.
