To enter IIT, students will first need to take the JEE Main. If they qualify JEE Main as one of the top 2 50,000 applicants, then they will be eligible for JEE Advanced.

After qualifying for JEE Advanced, they will be required to participate in a general counseling process run by the Joint Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

Admission to the IIT will be based on rank obtained, preference and availability.

Taking admission in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is becoming very hard due to heavy competition.
