The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University released an official statement on Thursday in response to a fake message circulating on the internet about the resumption of offline classes. The note, according to the university, is a forgery. The notice’s recommendations and information are no longer relevant.
“According to sub-point (v) of point 3 of the notice Gen. 567 issued on 14.02.2022, a meeting was held with the Deans of the Faculties, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor and the Chief Proctor, to make choices on the reopening of pre-final university classes and the physical mode examinations,” the fake notice read.
