IIM-Calcutta Launches Advanced Strategic Project Management Program

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Kolkata has launched an Advanced Program in Strategic Project Management (APSPM) with Eruditus. People interested in enrolling in this program can visit the official website.

The APSPM program is a nine-month course that aims to teach middle and senior managers how to plan and manage projects effectively in their organization. It is scheduled to start from April 2022.

This IIM Calcutta program has been specifically designed for senior executives who wish to receive formal training in project and portfolio management. The content of the program introduces participants to the concepts of project and portfolio management, as well as the advanced tools and methods available for their implementation in various business areas.

The Capstone project provides participants with the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in the program to the project throughout its life cycle.

Eligibility for the IIM Calcutta Special Program

Interested applicants must have a university degree with at least nine years of work experience and at least 50 percent diploma/postgraduate education.

The course is best suited for middle and senior executives who want to advance strategic initiatives using a data-driven approach. Participants must have direct or indirect work/project management experience.

All enrolled executives upon successful completion of all evaluation components and attendance criteria will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for the prestigious IIM Calcutta Executive Education alumni status. The third batch of online and in-class sessions will begin on March 27, 2022.
