I have a good news for students of CBSE and ICSE who are supposed to give board exams this year. On February 21, 2022, the Supreme Court of India will hear a petition brought by students from 15 states. Instead of holding physical tests, as planned by several State boards, CBSE, and ICSE, students went to SC in search of alternate exam methods for board exams for classes 10 and 12.
In light of the online schooling that occurred in the midst of the existing pandemic, CBSE and ICSE 10th and 12th grade students are requesting that the Board Exams for 2022 be cancelled or postponed. Students from the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, CISCE, and the National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS, as well as State Boards such as Maharashtra Board, Jharkhand Board, RBSE, and others, have spoken out against offline exams.
I hope that decision will be made in favor of the students.
