The Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY) aims to give employment to the unemployed and underemployed in urban areas by supporting the establishment of self-employment companies or by providing paid work. This initiative will rely on the construction of appropriate community structures based on the UBSP model, and inputs will be delivered through urban local bodies and similar community structures. I have read that the Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana will be jointly supported by the Centre and the States in the proportion of 75:25.
