The main purpose of education is to educate people in society, to prepare and qualify them for work in the economy, and to integrate people into society and teach them the values and morals of society.
The role of education is a means of socialising people, as well as maintaining the stability and smoothing of society. Those who receive an education have higher incomes, have more opportunities in life, and are generally healthier.
Society also benefits. Societies with high completion rates have lower crime rates, better general health and civic engagement. Lack of access to education is considered the root of poverty.
